What about the unrest in the Middle-East / Gulf region

Oman has, for decades, remained neutral in regards to conflicts in the Middle-East or other parts of the world. Under the leadership of former Sultan Qaboos and current Sultan Haitham it has strived to be a voice of peace. This is the main reason why Oman has not been under attack like its neighbouring countries. It has shown to be a safe haven for many people that were stranded after the war started late February 2026. Flights are operating as usual and Muscat and the Hajar Mountains are safe destinations for travel. We put our hope and trust in diplomatic solutions to hold and bring peace back so we can enjoy riding our bikes in the spectaculair mountains of Oman.

All-inclusive?

We don’t want you to worry about anything else than riding your bike in this unique location. We take care of everything from the moment you arrive at the aiport until you fly back home.

During a video-call we will talk about your wishes and what we can offer. We will send you our proposal accordingly.

Are these cycling trips suitable for all?

We love cycling and believe it should be accesible for all, even in Oman. At the same time cycling in a country like this requires certain experience and physical fitness on the bike. We are open to discuss possibilities and challenges.

Is Oman a suitable and safe cycling destination?

Oman has good quality roads. Outside of the larger cities these roads are low-traffic and suitable for cyclists. We share the road with cars, since cyclists are not common here. Your safety is of the utmost importance to us. Your guide and the support car are well prepared to safely guide and protect you during the trip.

Where can I find the routes?

For private tours the route will vary, depending on the groups fitness and wishes. Stage profile and details about the distance and elevation are shared in advance or available on our website (group tours).

.gpx files are available in order for all participants to upload the routes to their respective GPS-computers.

What is it like for women in Oman?

Oman is a Muslim country that has developed itself rapidly over the last few years and is investing heavily into tourism. Tourists from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds have found their way to Oman and will feel welcome. Local Omani living in remote places are not accustomed to seeing cyclists, let alone women on bicycles. In our experience this doesn’t prevent them from showing us the kindness and hospitality known to them. You will feel at home and welcome!

If and when we visit religious or traditional sites we will be asked to cover up out of respect. This is true for both men and women.

Will you be able to cater for those with allergies or other dietary wishes?

Of course! During the video-call we will discuss this matter and we will do whatever we can to cater to your dietary needs.
