Barteld is the founder of Untravelled Roads. Originally from the Netherlands, he brought together his Dutch cycling roots, his love for Oman, and a growing fascination with Arabic language and culture to shape the company. When heās not in the workshop fine-tuning bikes, heās out ridingāpreferably exploring new roads himself. From fast road rides to fully loaded gravel or mountain bike adventures, heās drawn to the freedom of Omanās mountains and open landscapes. For Barteld, thereās no better way to experience the country than on two wheelsāand even better when shared with others.
